SIKHART & ANIMATIONS UK HAS BEEN LAUNCHED TO CONVEY SIKH SPIRITUAL WISDOM , HISTORY & CULTURE IN A MODERN CONTEMPORARY WAY THROUGH ART, BOOKS, POSTERS & ANIMATION FILMS.

 ‘JEWELS FROM SIKH WISDOM’ IS THE FIRST BOOK IN A SERIES OF BOOKS THAT WE WILL BE LAUNCHING.

WE HAVE ALSO VENTURED INTO 3D ANIMATIONS & HAVE BEEN COMMISSIONED BY SIKH LENS USA TO PREPARE 2 SHORT FILMS ON INCIDENTS FROM THE LIFE OF MAHARAJA RANJIT SINGH. THESE SHORT FILMS HAVE NOW BEEN COMPLETED & DEPICT THE UNIQUE WISDOM, LARGE HEARTEDNESS & HUMOUR OF MAHARAJA RANJIT SINGH .

Who is Harinder Singh?

Harinder Singh, lives in Leicester , UK & has been part of the UK Sikh diaspora since 1980 & has  been involved in various creative & business enterprises.

In order to pursue his creative & literary bent of mind he was commissioned in 1988 to co-author two children’s books published by BBC & by Maxwell house .

He was also commissioned to co-write a play on the Partition of India for BBC radio 4.

Harinder has on many occasions been involved in inter faith dialogue & has been a regular guest speaker at the erstwhile Commonwealth Institute in Kensington, London & more recently for programmes organised by St Philips Centre in Leicester.

 He has been invited to give talks on Sikh faith, culture & history to school & University students.

He has set up ‘Sikh Arts & Animations’ company & has been commissioned by Sikh Lens, USA to produce two 3D animation films on ‘Maharaja Ranjit Singh & Return of the Kohinoor Diamond’ & ‘Maharaja Ranjit Singh gets hit by a stone’. These have been shown at the Sikh Lens Chandigarh Film Festival & will be shown later this year at the Sikh Lens California Film Festival.

More recently, Harinder Singh has conceptualised & compiled ‘Jewels from Sikh Wisdom…..A Journey of Discovery’, with Art work by the renowned Singh Twins & published by Sikh Lens , USA.
